The Securities and Derivatives Senior Analyst in Syndicate Middle Office will be managing the deal lifecycle in coordination with all key stakeholders. The overall objective of this role is to leverage your skills to evaluate end to end processes with the mindset to drive meaningful change.


Responsibilities:

  • Execution and settlement of New Issuance within the Debt Capital Market (DCM) and Equity Capital Market (ECM) scope, from pre-pricing through post-closing
  • Closing SEC Registered and 144A/REGS transactions.
  • Obtaining and meticulously review final term sheets, prospectuses, and underwriting agreements.
  • Execute manual wire packets for FED wire payments (ABA/Swift).
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks, adhere to strict deadlines, and navigate complex processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges, remove roadblocks, and address issues to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Effectively coordinate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including syndicate banks, legal counsel, trustees, and client
  • Operate in a high volume, high visibility and high-risk environment
  • Appropriately assess high risk when business decisions are made, particular consideration for the firms' reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Syndicate operational experience or relevant experience and advance technical skills (AI) a plus
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of deal flow (Deal Structure/Euroclear/Final Settlements)
  • Product knowledge of DCM and ECM products
  • Self- starter who consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
