Apogee has a new and exciting opportunity for a Executive Communications & Information Governance Specialist who supports leadership by drafting and coordinating high-level communications and assisting with information governance practices. Ensures messaging is clear, aligned with leadership intent, and handled in accordance with applicable policies.

Responsibilities
- Draft and edit executive correspondence, talking points, and briefings for leadership.
- Support coordination and routing of sensitive communications for review and approval.
- Assist in applying information governance practices, including proper handling and documentation of sensitive/executive communications.
- Help prepare the monthly Directorate Communication Summary Report summarizing key executive-level exchanges and themes.
- Work with senior staff to ensure consistency of messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Education / Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, International Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field, with at least two (2) years’ related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely for senior audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with standard office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, presentation software).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting senior leaders (e.g., O-6, GO/FO, SES) in DoD or IC organizations.
- Familiarity with records management or information governance policies.
- Experience preparing communication summaries or similar reporting products.
