The Assistant Lighting Project Manager works directly with the Lighting Project Managers to plan, execute and finalize projects while adhering to deadlines and budget requirements.
position details/responsibilities…
- Prepare submittal packages for Lighting project managers and Senior Lighting project managers.
- Obtain fixture quotes and provide accurate pricing and recommendations for fixture solutions.
- Work directly with manufacturers and vendors regarding lead times, product availability and pricing.
- Communicate to all project team members regarding project status, inventory, budget, etc.
- Assist with reporting and data entry while maintaining documentation for projects.
here’s what we’re looking for…
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the lighting supply chain process, or have similar experience within construction-specific distribution.
- General knowledge of electrical contracting, lighting design, distribution and construction processes.
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail oriented and efficient.
- Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
