About the Position

Power Design is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead the daily operations of our Surge Café, located at our corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while managing front-of-house operations and supporting the café team with day-to-day service. Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily front-of-house operations of the Surge CafĂ© while creating an exceptional guest experience.
  • Supervise, coach, and support front-of-house team members, leading by example during daily operations.
  • Serve as the front-facing ambassador of the cafĂ© by providing outstanding customer service and building relationships with guests.
  • Assist with food and beverage service, campus food deliveries, and catered events as needed.
  • Stock grab-and-go items, cafĂ© supplies, condiments, and dining areas to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning responsibilities to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Partner with Marketing on cafĂ© promotions and specials.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
  • Support cafĂ© operations wherever needed to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.

Here's What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of hospitality, food service, or cafĂ© experience, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health department regulations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, self-motivated team player who leads by example and demonstrates Power Design's core values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
