Contract Support Administrator

The Contract Support Administrator supports contract management by coordinating communication, monitoring contract performance, and ensuring alignment between project staffing, billing, and contractual requirements. This role works closely with the Director of Time and Material Management, the billing team, and field personnel to identify and address contract needs, including amendments, supplemental agreements, and time extensions. In addition to outreach efforts, the CSA reviews invoices prior to sending them to the client. The CSA also facilitates the following administrative functions: closing out contracts, preparing a weekly utilization report, and requesting Certificates of Insurance as needed by the client.

  • Attention to Detail: High proficiency in reviewing and proofreading a variety of documents with varying degrees of complexity.
  • Time Management: Work independently. Organize and prioritize workload. Manage deadlines.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for negotiating and explaining basic contract terms.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with contract/workflow management software, Adobe, and Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, etc.). Proficient in Excel (formulas, calculations, percentages).
  • Knowledge: Possesses a basic understanding of contract and finance terminology and standard business terms. Familiarity with government Consultant and Subconsultant contracts would be beneficial.
  • Experience and/or Education: Minimum three years of relevant experience in a contract administration role, preferably working or doing business with government entities and/or contractors in the billing/accounting department.
