As a Sales Support Assistant/Central Processor, you'll be the central point of contact for our customers, builders, and internal sales teams. You will manage a variety of tasks critical to supporting our Flooring, Cabinet, and Appliance divisions, ensuring accurate order processing, scheduling, communication, and customer satisfaction throughout the construction cycle.
OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAILY TASKS
- Monitor builder portals daily.
- Review incoming purchase orders for flooring, cabinets, and appliances to verify accuracy of materials, products, specifications, and quantities.
- Utilize company programs and plans to calculate area dimensions and accurately determine flooring material quantities.
- Review cabinet layouts, appliance selections, and product specifications for completeness and accuracy.
- Develop color floor plans, wall tile diagrams, cabinet elevation documents, and other supporting project documentation as required.
- Upload and maintain job files, selections, plans, and supporting documentation in company systems.
- Coordinate and schedule flooring, cabinet, and appliance installations/deliveries according to builder timelines, lead times, and product availability.
- Manage and resolve revisions, change orders, material backorders, product substitutions, installation-related issues, delivery concerns, and scheduling conflicts.
- Communicate regularly with builders, purchasing managers, field superintendents, manufacturers, vendors, installation teams, and internal departments.
- Track order status from approval through installation and completion.
- Run operational, scheduling, and backlog reports as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and project documentation.
- Support multiple commodity lines while ensuring builders receive timely and accurate service.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM preferred.
