LC State invites applications for the position of Associate Registrar.

Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $55,000 - $58,000

Degree Required: Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college/university OR a Bachelor's Degree with significant years in registrar or financial aid higher education.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an office setting, excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to organize resources, multi-task, establish priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, strong computer skills, and ability to navigate exporting and organizing reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Registrar & Records Office or Financial Aid Office in higher education
  • Experience working with college athletics, preferably NAIA
  • Experience with Student Information System (SIS) used to collect, store, manage, and interpret data from student records and activities

Responsibilities:

Athletic Eligibility
1. Review and enter relevant academic data on all eligibility rosters
2. Collaborate with the faculty athletic representative and Athletics Department to process timely submission of rosters and other information to the NAIA
3. Review transfer transcripts for all athletes to determine the credits to be applied toward eligibility
4. Complete all scholar athlete nomination forms for both individual and team submissions

Graduation
1. Update graduation applications on an annual basis
2. Review graduation applications and degree audits
3. Conduct final graduation checks and award degrees
4. Oversee the diploma print list, production, and mailing of diplomas and diploma covers after each semester
5. Serve on the commencement committee and assist the Provost's Office with commencement
6. Organize and assist with commencement day event
7. Monitor graduation inventory (diploma covers, paper, cords, etc.) and order as needed

Enrollment Reporting
1. Submit timely enrollment reports throughout the academic year to the National Student Clearinghouse
2. Verify information is submitted correctly to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS)
3. Work directly with the Financial Aid Office to ensure accuracy of student data

General Responsibilities
1. Oversee student communication, review, and update every year
2. Review and update Registrar & Records procedures. Update inventory list yearly
3. Oversee course substitutions with transcript evaluators
4. Process a wide variety of office forms such as add/drop, withdrawals, PIFs
5. Other duties as assigned to assist faculty/staff/students in a broad range of services in the Warrior OneStop

Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.
