About the Role

Murray's Collision Group has been part of the Puget Sound community since 1984. We are a family owned company with multiple locations across the greater Seattle area, known for quality repairs, a strong shop culture, and taking care of our team.

We are looking for an Estimator to join our Fix Auto Gig Harbor team. This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys variety, from writing accurate repair estimates to being the first friendly face customers see when they walk through the door. You will work directly with customers and insurance partners in a DRP friendly, fast paced shop environment, and you will play a key role in keeping the customer experience smooth from estimate through delivery.

What You'll Do

• Write accurate estimates for walk-in and prior damage claims using CCC One
• Communicate with customers and insurance adjusters throughout the repair process, keeping them informed on status and target delivery dates
• Greet customers, answer phones, and help schedule repairs to keep the front office running smoothly
• Build supplements and stay current on insurance company guidelines and DRP requirements
• Attend daily production meetings and stay on top of every vehicle's status in the shop
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, fleet accounts, and your teammates
• Help drive strong customer satisfaction scores through clear communication and reliable follow through

What We're Looking For

• at least one year of experience as a collision estimator or insurance appraiser preferred
• Comfort working in a fast paced environment where no two days look the same
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Experience with CCC One or similar estimating software preferred
• I-CAR training a plus
• Ability to work independently and multitask without close supervision
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record

Pay Transparency

In accordance with Washington State's Equal Pay and Opportunities Act (RCW 49.58), the pay range for this position is $28 to $32 per hour. Actual pay is based on experience and qualifications.
