Happy Ears Hearing Center, a well-established private audiology practice with multiple locations throughout the Greater Phoenix area, is seeking an Audiologist or experienced Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to join its Gilbert team.

The Gilbert location provides comprehensive hearing healthcare for adults and pediatric patients, with services including diagnostic evaluations, hearing aids, tinnitus care, cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing devices, and cerumen management. The practice works with multiple hearing aid manufacturers and places a strong emphasis on Real Ear Measurements (REM), audiology best practices, advanced technology, and individualized patient care.

This opportunity is particularly well suited for an Audiologist who enjoys working with hearing aids and finds fulfillment in helping patients through the evaluation, fitting, counseling, and rehabilitation process.

Scope of Practice & Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive adult and pediatric diagnostic hearing evaluations
  • Provide cochlear implant evaluations, mapping, and ongoing care
  • Evaluate and work with bone-anchored hearing devices (BAHA)
  • Evaluate and treat patients with tinnitus
  • Conduct hearing aid evaluations and recommend amplification solutions based on individual patient needs
  • Select, fit, program, and adjust hearing aids from multiple manufacturers using Real Ear Measurements (REM) and audiology best practices
  • Provide hearing aid verification, troubleshooting, repairs, follow-up care, and patient counseling
  • Perform cerumen management as appropriate

Requirements

  • AuD or Master’s degree in Audiology
  • Arizona Audiologist license or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong communication and patient counseling skills
  • Commitment to Real Ear Measurements and audiology best practices
  • Interest in practicing across a broad scope of audiology
