Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour

Available Shifts:

  • Evenings: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Overnights: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • Weekends: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide compassionate care and daily support to individuals with special needs in home and community settings. You'll help promote independence, encourage personal growth, and create a safe, positive environment where each individual can thrive.

What You'll Do
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare simple meals and assist with meal planning and cooking
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe home environment
  • Encourage participation in recreational activities, games, crafts, and life-skills development
  • Accompany individuals on community outings, appointments, and social activities
  • Provide encouragement, companionship, and emotional support
  • Follow individualized care plans and document services as required
  • Maintain a safe environment while following organizational policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and fellow team members

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card within 90 days of hire
  • CPR certification (training available)
  • First Aid certification (training available)
  • Article 9 certification (training available)
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally when needed
  • Ability to assist individuals with mobility and daily living activities
