Loenbro Southwest is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Coatings Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of industrial coating processes, materials, and project management. This role involves accurately estimating the cost and time required for various industrial coating projects, from initial assessment to final completion.

Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Work closely with Coating Division leadership to understand our market strategy and capabilities. Review of estimates with leadership for alignment on labor hours, materials cost, equipment, and subcontracting if needed.
- Review Project Specifications: Thoroughly analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine project scope, materials, and labor requirements.
- Conduct Site Visits: Visit project sites to assess existing conditions, identify potential challenges, and gather accurate measurements.
- Develop Cost Estimates: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Material Take-offs: Accurately calculated quantities of materials needed for each project.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain quotes and incorporate their costs into overall project estimates.
- Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns, project timelines, and scope of work.
- Present Estimates: Present to management the methodology and costing elements of your estimating work. Be able to show back up and declare assumptions.
- Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to project specifications.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of projects.
- Participate in Weekly Estimating Meetings: Prepare and present updates on your assigned estimates. Speak to priorities and compliance with bid submittals.
- CRM Software: Working with the CRM manager, keep all records updated in Salesforce.
- Analytics Tracking: Perform bi-weekly checks on how your estimates are comparing to actuals. This includes GPM and Win rates.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial coating estimating or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (Heavy Bid, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, On Screen takeoff, and other estimating-related systems).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and application techniques.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates and proposals.

- Knowledge of project management software such as Procore and Foundation is a plus.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Certification in industrial painting or coatings application (preferred)
- Experience with abrasive blasting

Work Environment:
· Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.
