Position Summary:
The Financial Assistant will support the Finance Department with day-to-day operations, including payroll processing, accounts payable, and general financial administrative tasks.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing and timecard adjustments
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team
- Maintain accurate financial records

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 2–4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (healthcare or nonprofit preferred)
- Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with grant accounting and cost allocation (preferred in FQHC setting)
- Proficiency in accounting/payroll systems (e.g., Bamboo HR, Sage)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
