High School (Grades 9-12) English Teacher, Full-time

Description

Gilbert Christian Schools has an immediate opening for a full-time high school English teacher for grades 9-12. Experience in and commitment to teaching the subject from a biblical worldview are essential for this position. In addition to teaching in their content areas, GCHS teachers are disciplers of their students in all contexts, including serving as small-group leaders weekly. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in English Education, English, or a related field. The ideal candidate will also have a teaching endorsement or certificate (e.g., ACSI certificate, State certification) in English and at least 3 years of high school teaching experience. Candidates with at least a Master's degree in English or the equivalent through graduate-level coursework in English who can be approved to teach college-level courses are highly desired.
