Role Description
ASR Construction Group is seeking a dedicated and motivated Skilled Craftsman with Water and Wastewater experience to join our self-performing team. The Skilled Craftsman will be responsible for assisting with earthwork, mechanical piping installations, concrete placements, and overall quality control.Â
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain construction equipment, machinery, and tools.Â
- Ability to safely operate construction equipment (skid steer, mini-excavator, forklift, etc.)
- Built and set concrete formwork, reinforcing, and concrete placement.Â
- Understand how to safely complete excavations, establish grade, and complete backfill operations.
- Install below-grade and above-grade mechanical piping.
- Complete pre-task planning.
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.Â
Work Environment
Laborers will spend 100% of their time on construction job sites throughout the Phoenix metro with occasional jobs spanning the state of Arizona.Â
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to work in all weather.Â
- Laborers must be punctual and reliable.Â
- Must be willing to learn and maintain a positive attitude.Â
- Must have experience in the construction industry.Â
- Experience in the water and wastewater industry is preferred.
