Job Description

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol with Active Clearance in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will contribute as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $24.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report discrepancies according to site policies and post instructions.
• Support day-to-day security-related operations by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, observing for policy violations, and reporting maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
