Key Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to recipes and company standards.
- Ensure proper portioning, food quality, and timely preparation.
- Stock, rotate, and store food using FIFO procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, prep, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, OSHA, and health department standards.
- Clean kitchen equipment and work areas throughout each shift.
- Communicate equipment, safety, or service issues to management.
- Assist team members with food prep, dishwashing, and dining room cleanliness as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work in hot, cold, and fast-paced environments.
- Basic reading, writing, math, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
Experience
- No experience required; training provided.
