Overview
The Material Handler - Receiving is responsible for the operation of material handling equipment to perform a variety of functions within the distribution center including inbound product receipt, picking, stocking, staging and order fulfillment. This position will rotate from area-to-area within the distribution center as workload dictates.Â

This is a full-time position. Work schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

Responsibilities
- Safe operation of material handling equipment to perform a variety of functions within the distribution center:Â
- Pick/pull for replenishment of components and place product in assigned staging/picking areas. Â
- Scan to verify the product and assigned location is accurate. Â
- Sort, build, and shrink wrap products into pallets in compliance with established standards. Â
- Perform pre/post operation inspection of assigned material handling equipment. Â
- Â
- Clean work area removing pallets, boxes, paper, plastic and banding.Â
- Perform other distribution work functions as workload dictates.Â
Qualifications
Education, Experience and Skills:
- High School Diploma, or GED, preferred
- 3+ years Warehousing, shipping, or logistics.
- 1+ year experience operating material handling equipment
- Proficient in clear communication (written & verbal), relationship building, and active listening to accurately follow instructions, coordinate with team members, and ensure safe and efficient material movement.
- Proficient in problem solving, safety awareness, and adaptability to address operational challenges, maintain safe work practices, and adjust to changes in systems, processes, and workload demands.
- Proficient in attention to detail to verify product accuracy, assigned locations, and compliance with established standards for picking, stocking, staging, and order fulfillment.Â
- Strong proficiency in material handling operation to independently operate order pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, including performing pre- and post-operation inspections.Â

Other Job Requirements:
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs with a range from a floor level to above shoulder height. Position requires walking and standing on concrete floors for a period of up to two hours; pushing and pulling rolling carts or pallet jacks bearing loads of up to 500 pounds; and requires free range of motion including twisting, bending, stooping, and safely stepping up and down step-ladders. Â
- Must be willing to work at extended heights. Â
- Must have a valid state issued driver’s license. Â
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.Â
- Must be able to work overtime, if needed.Â
