BASIC POSITION DUTIES:

  • Perform engineering floor support, routine engineering tasks and assist in various engineering projects.

JOB DUTIES:  

  • Assist in the design and implementation methods of processes to improve product quality and manufacturing.  
  • Trouble shoots problems in equipment and or process to affect timely solutions and maintain continuity of production flow. 
  • Assist in monitoring and debugging new methods and processes to ensure desired results.  
  • Support continuous improvements and APS activities.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two-year technical degree or comparable technical experience, plus at least 2 years engineering/technical experience in a manufacturing environment.

SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

  • PLC experience required.
  • Knowledge of engineering systems & methods in manufacturing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Working knowledge of safety & environmental considerations.
  • Strong oral & written communications. 
  • Proficiency with P.C. based software.
  • Willingness to stay on a problem through completion.
