Job Overview:
As a Mortgage Closing Consultant, you'll guide clients through the final, most important stretch of their homebuying journey — serving as a trusted advisor at one of life's biggest milestones. You'll work closely with loan consultants, underwriters, real estate agents, and insurance advisors to deliver a smooth, accurate, and efficient closing experience. We'll set you up for success with a comprehensive training program, sponsored NMLS licensing, and a personalized career progression plan — with past Mortgage Closing Consultants going on to roles in sales, operations, team lead, and market management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze loan applications and supporting documents to ensure they meet underwriting standards
- Guide clients confidently through the final stages of the mortgage process
- Collaborate with loan consultants, underwriters, real estate agents, and insurance advisors to ensure accurate and timely closings
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, answering questions and easing concerns during a high-stakes process
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in documentation before closing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related fieldÂ
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skillsÂ
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlinesÂ
- A collaborative, team-first mindsetÂ
- Willingness to obtain an NMLS license (sponsored by CapCenter)
Compensation:
The base hourly pay range for this position is $24.04 – $28.85 per hour. Individual starting pay will be determined based on job-related considerations, including relevant qualifications, experience, location, education, certifications, skills, and other job-related factors. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with applicable law.
In addition to base hourly pay and overtime, this position is eligible for transaction-based incentive compensation based on performance and discretionary bonus opportunities. As a result, total cash compensation may vary based on hours worked, overtime, individual performance, transaction-based incentive earnings, and any applicable discretionary bonus.
