Job Description:
Salary: $70,000/year
Scope of Position: Provide leadership and direction to WIOA program staff; provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients; develop and deliver program specifics; ensure program goals are met and contract and state regulations are adhered to on a daily basis. This position is responsible for daily management and oversight of daily program activities and EDSI staff.
Essential Functions:
Guides and supervises WIOA team members to ensure best practices are used and performance goals are met
Facilitates weekly CareerLink orientations and WIOA information sessions
Ensures proper referrals to appropriate community service or social service agencies when needed
Facilitates bi-weekly direct report meetings with WIOA team members
Processes and assigns new program interest forms
Facilitates weekly training approval and case review meetings
Establishes master training agreements with providers and maintains the training waitlist in times of limited funding
Tracks customer feedback data following workshops and CareerLink events
Works with the CareerLink leadership team to implement new programming and processes to engage customers
Tracks jobseeker and partnership success stories and compiles a quarterly newsletter to be shared with partners
Assists in the preparation of project reports as needed
Provides new employee training as needed
Conducts outreach for targeted populations as specific grant funding becomes available through the DCWDB and maintains a caseload of jobseekers as needed
Oversees specialty projects and grants within Delaware County
Maintains and tracks performance data for programs/grants in Delaware County

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human services or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the workforce development field
Experience in providing career development assistance
Previous management experience with comparable project size an asset
Must have notable experience in team-oriented environment
Should be able to converse with a wide range of clients and professionals while demonstrating a positive professional attitude
Knowledge and understanding of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
Knowledge of Federal and State guidelines related to the Welfare Transition, WIA and EARN programs
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Valid Driver’s License
