We’re looking for a dependable Warehouse Technician to support daily maintenance operations by coordinating equipment repairs, assisting mechanics, and helping ensure trucks and industrial equipment remain safe, reliable, and operational. This role plays a key part in maintaining shop efficiency, supporting field operations, and promoting safe work practices across the maintenance team.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate daily workflow and assign repair priorities based on operational and maintenance needs.
- Support mechanics by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and troubleshooting assistance.
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality standards and safe operating conditions are met.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on trucks, pumps, and industrial equipment as needed.
- Monitor shop housekeeping and ensure work areas meet MPW safety and cleanliness standards.
- Assist with diagnosing gasoline and diesel engine issues, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic components.
- Maintain communication between shifts to ensure continuity of repairs and equipment readiness.
- Work closely with operations and dispatch to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability.
- Support emergency repairs and adjust schedules to meet changing operational priorities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance information and support compliance with DOT equipment standards.
- Travel temporarily to field locations to perform equipment maintenance and repairs when required.
- Promote safe work practices and reinforce compliance with company policies and procedures.

What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or industrial trade training preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, fleet, or heavy equipment environments.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred, ideally within a maintenance or repair shop setting.
- Working knowledge of DOT standards, equipment diagnostics, hydraulics, pneumatics, drive trains, brakes, and diesel systems.
- Experience rebuilding and repairing pumps, industrial equipment, and heavy-duty mechanical systems.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft operating systems and maintenance-related software programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats across multiple departments.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment or parts weighing up to 50 pounds regularly during shifts.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work in industrial shop or field environments for extended periods.
- Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment, industrial noise, grease, chemicals, and varying indoor or outdoor conditions while wearing required PPE.
