Overnight Heavy Equipment Operator- Glen Rose Texas

Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill a position as an Overnight Heavy Equipment Operator in Glen Rose, Texas. The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating Heavy Equipment such as a Grader, Excavator, and Dozer and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

The successful candidate for this role will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery in a rock quarry including dozer, excavator, front end loader, dredge, haul truck, and general work around the quarry operation.
• Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Properly follow all company policies and MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment required. 
• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Dozer Experience a plus. 
• Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry.
• Must be able to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment.
• Ability to complete pre-operation inspection paperwork.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
• Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
