Job Description
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks to assist in all aspects of maintenance operations, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks on equipment and facilities.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on conveyors and other related items around the location
- Light welding and fabrication
- Perform tasks for the upkeep of building and grounds
- Utilize carpentry, plumbing and mechanical skills for minor repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance of pumps and motors
- Ability to read manuals to assist in repairs
- Always maintain a clean and pristine work area
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in maintenance related field
- 2+ years experience working with hydraulic systems
Preferred:
- General knowledge of commercial/industrial maintenance
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet business deadlines
- Ability to follow user manuals as needed for repairs and proper maintenance
- 40-hour Hazwoper certification
- Ability to work in all climate conditions both indoors and outdoors
