Description

Performs a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical control machines to cut, shape or form metal parts to specifications. Does set ups and writes a program on the software and/or at the machine. Troubleshoot.

CNC Set Up & Programmer Schedule:

Monday – Friday ; overtime available and flexible schedule

1st. Shift, flexible schedule :

- 7:00 am – 5:30 pm or,

- 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

CNC Set Up Operator & Programmer Requirements:

- Five- plus years of proven hands-on programming experience on CNC lathes and Swiss style CNC machines.

• Able to do set-ups

- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Knowledge of ESPRIT is a plus

• Able to read and understand blueprints and understand inspection per customer and quality requirements

• Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers and other measurement devices.

• Capable of lifting 35-40 lbs.

• Knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machines.

• Able to make adjustments on the machine .

• Good communication skills

• High attention to detail

• Good technical and mathematical skills

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
