About the Role
Virtual Teammate is seeking experienced Filipino caregivers on behalf of a residential assisted living facility in Arizona, USA.
This is a live-in caregiving position supporting elderly residents in a home-based care setting. Caregivers will provide personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance while residing on-site.
This position is classified as a 1099 Independent Contractor role. Selected candidates will work directly with the U.S. partner facility and live in caregiver housing provided as part of the engagement.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
Assist with medication routines under facility supervision
Support meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and laundry
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate resident updates to supervisors
Follow all safety, health, and confidentiality standards within the facility
Qualifications
Filipino citizen
Graduate of a Caregiving, Nursing, or other Health-related program
Minimum of 1–2 years of caregiving experience (assisted living, elderly, or home care)
CPR and First Aid certification (required)
Caregiver certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (preferred or eligibility to apply)
Good English communication and interpersonal skills
Must be willing to live on-site full-time
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Rate: USD $150–$180 per 12-hour shift
Schedule: 5–6 days per week, rotating day and night shifts
Housing: Provided (private or semi-private caregiver room)
Utilities: Included with housing
Relocation Support: Covered by the U.S. partner facility
Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and recordkeeping. A year-end IRS Form 1099 will be issued for income reporting.
