Job Description

Position Summary

The Data Analyst will be a key member of the Revenue Management team, responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic pricing decisions.  The Analyst will use their analytical skills to gather, validate, and implement pricing strategies based on performance data. In addition will provide managerial reporting and trends for revenue performance. The position works closely with our team of internal analysts, external business partners, and our information technology group. The primary goal is to help us improve the revenue generating effectiveness of our consumer by translating complex and massive data sets into actionable insights and recommendations for senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and variances
  • Apply data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights
  • Build and maintain data models that reflect complex business processes and relationships
  • Create clear, comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver customized insights
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by following governance standards and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role or graduate in above fields from top universities.  
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable with using formulas, vlookups and pivot table and graph
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is helpful but not required
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
