Position Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Remote Dental Receptionist to support dental practices virtually. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, handling scheduling, inquiries, and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and professional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls, emails, and messages from patients in a timely and professional manner

  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments

  • Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information

  • Provide basic information about services, procedures, and office policies

  • Manage appointment calendars and optimize scheduling efficiency

  • Send reminders and follow-ups for upcoming or missed appointments

  • Assist with insurance verification and patient benefit breakdowns (if needed)

  • Coordinate with dental staff regarding patient needs and schedule changes

  • Maintain accurate records in the practice management system

  • Handle patient concerns with professionalism and empathy

  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information

Qualifications

  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a dental receptionist

  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)

  • Familiarity with dental workflows and terminology

  • Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, CareStack)

  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup
