Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist, you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

  • Meets annual competency requirement prior to evaluation date.
  • Demonstrates through actions a focus on the care and safety of patients having Imaging exams.
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in the performance of all Computerized Tomography exams.
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in the performance of all Diagnostic Radiology procedures
  • Exercises tact, sympathy and professionalism in dealing with patients and relatives in all age groups from pediatric to geriatric.
  • Keeps management staff fully informed of all issues relating to departmental operations.

Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Graduate General Studies and One (1) year as a technologist in a full service Radiology/CT Department.
  • Medical Radiographer: CA
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA (within 12 months from hire)

Preferred

  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
  • Venipuncture
