Hybrid Shift Warehouse Associate Driver, Shipping

Objective of the Position

The Warehouse Associate prepares orders for shipment to customers.

Skills

·   Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization

·   Keen attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and checking

·   Arithmetic skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing

·   Ability to work in a team environment

·   Good judgment and decision making skills

Work Experience Requirements

Powered Industrial Truck certification for Reach Truck, Dock Stocker, previous warehouse, RF scanner, and Warehouse Management System experience.

Essential Functions & Duties

·   Follow set work standards for picking orders

·   Safely operate and utilize manual and powered equipment

·   Load and unload product in an efficient and safe manner

·   Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping

·   Scan products using RF scanner

·   Review orders for shipment to ensure accuracy

·   Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned

·   Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations

Physical Requirements

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, the associate  must have the ability to perform physical activities such as standing for prolonged periods of time, bending for prolonged periods of time, climbing, balancing, walking, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively, and have good eye/hand coordination and motor skills. This position requires the ability to operate powered industrial equipment.

Working Conditions

This position operates in the warehouse. Regular workdays for this position are Monday through Friday. Occasionally, responsibilities may require additional daytime/evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.
