Position Summary:

Ā 

Under direction of the surgeon and/or fluoroscopy licensed medical provider, utilize C-Arms and Mini C-Arms to image patients during surgery/ procedures. Maintains imaging records and filing system.

Ā 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Ā 

  • Under direction of the surgeon and/or fluoroscopy licensed medical provider, utilize C-Arms and Mini C-Arms to image patients during surgery/ procedures Independently set up and enter patient information into the imaging system
  • Follow direction from surgeon/ fluoroscopy licensed medical provider to appropriately image patient.
  • Maintain records and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
  • Move imaging and protective equipment between operating rooms and storage locations independently.
  • Ensure all persons in range of radiologic exposure are adequately protected.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding imaging.
  • Responsible for orderliness and stocking of x-ray areas.
  • Other duties as assigned

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $35 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

Qualifications

Education and / or Experience:

Ā 

  • Graduate of an AMA approved program of Radiology Technology.
  • Must have active California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must have two-year experience with C-Arms, mini C-Arms and surgical procedures.
  • Ability to work in multi-task, high stress environment.
