Material Handler/ Forklift Operator

We are hiring for a 1st Shift Material Handler/ Forklift Operator (Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm) in our Glendale, AZ location to provide quality material handling to support operations and achieve growth. This position will be reporting to the Facility Manager and will occasionally require weekends, holidays, and overtime.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Operate a lift truck to pick orders, load and unload trucks and railcars
- Perform inventory control activities to ensure accurate product records
- General clean up
- Order Picking
- Can include inventory and other warehouse functions to help create smoother operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Â
- Experience operating lift truck attachments, such as roll clamp preferred
- Experience loading and unloading trucks and railcars using lift truck equipment
- Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities as needed
- Demonstrated accuracy in counting and completing paperwork
- Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product being handled
- Positive, clear, and professional communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must be willing and able to slide, push, or pull cases up to 60 pounds
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company.
- MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE HOT WEATHER CONDITIONS
