The Mechanic Technician provides skilled technical services on various ride structures, vehicles, and other components.   This position will also include landscaping duties.Â
Responsibilities:
  Performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of amusement park rides and devises.  Must also be willing and able to perform and/or assist in other Park repairs and maintenance that is deemed necessary by Supervision. Â
- Troubleshooting and/or perform general maintenance of mechanical devices and vehicles to assure proper function and safety. Â
- Working with conveyors.Â
- Climbing/Inspecting track and structure. Â
- Pool experience preferredÂ
- Landscape duties(weeds, shrubs, watering, blowing, etc.)Â Â
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of the operational aspects of machinery components. Â
- ·        A valid Driver's License and High School Diploma or valid GED. Â
- ·        A basic set of hand tools. Â
- ·        Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Â
- ·        Ability to perform various physical activities, such as climbing, crawling, and lifting, from various heights on ride structures. Â
- ·        Vocational or technical trade certifications. Â
- ·        Demonstrate communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking), and ability to keep accurate written records. Â
- Must have basic landscape knowledge or be willing to learn
- Establish and maintain a cordial and effective working relationship with fellow employees
- Must be able to handle frequent kneeling, bending, digging, squatting, pulling, etc.
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
- Must be able to use a shovel, pick axe, planting bar, rake, and other landscape equipment
- Must be able to tolerate natural elements (heat, sun, wind, rain) for extended periods of time
