Glendive Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team at Gabert Clinic. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, collaborating with providers, and contributing to a positive healthcare experience in a busy outpatient setting.

As a valued member of our clinic team, you'll help ensure patients receive compassionate, high-quality care from check-in through follow-up.

 

What You'll Do

  • Welcome and prepare patients for appointments and procedures
  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatments
  • Administer medications as permitted by certification and clinic protocols
  • Perform basic clinical procedures such as dressing changes and suture or staple removal
  • Collect laboratory specimens and assist with related testing processes
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members
  • Support clinic operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
