Glendive Medical Center is looking for a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is ideal for imaging professionals seeking schedule flexibility while staying active in a hospital environment that serves a diverse patient population.

You'll play an important role in helping providers diagnose and treat patients by delivering accurate, high-quality imaging services in a safe and patient-focused setting.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and answer questions about the exam process
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain diagnostic-quality images
  • Operate imaging equipment according to department protocols
  • Follow radiation safety practices and infection prevention standards
  • Administer contrast agents when required and within scope of practice
  • Upload, verify, and maintain images within PACS
  • Assist radiologists and providers during imaging procedures as needed
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance concerns
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals

 

Qualifications

Required

  • ARRT certification
  • Montana Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
  • Current BLS certification

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting
  • Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and anatomy
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize patient needs
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to image quality
  • Ability to respond to on-call assignments within required timeframes

 

Schedule

  • PRN position with variable hours based on department needs
  • Day shifts typically scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • Participation in on-call rotation required
  • Minimum commitment of one shift every three months to maintain PRN status
