Registered Nurse (RN) – Extended Care - FT
Glendive Medical Center | Glendive, Montana Full-Time | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Starting Wage: $31.63+/hour (based on experience) + Applicable Differentials

Glendive Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Long-Term Care team. In this role, you'll provide skilled nursing care, oversee resident care delivery, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.
What You'll Do
- Asses, monitor, and evaluate resident health status
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Document assessments, care, and resident progress accurately
- Collaborate with providers, residents, families, and care team members
- Identify and report changes in resident conditions
- Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Supervise and support CNAs and other non-licensed staff
- Promote compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and facility policies
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and resident-focused environment
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana or Compact License
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer programs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to perform the physical demands associated with direct resident care
Schedule Details
- Full-time, three 12-hour shifts
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
Compensation and Employee Benefits
In addition to competitive pay, we offer recruitment incentives such as a sign-on, relocation, retention, and tuition reimbursement specific to the candidate. Wages are based years of experience as outlined in the Union contract.
