Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function in adult residents.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals.
- Provide direct therapy and document progress; adjust plans as needed.
- Manage swallowing disorders and implement safe swallowing strategies when indicated.
- Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, social work, and dietary staff to coordinate resident care and discharge planning.
- Educate residents and families on communication strategies and swallowing safety; maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Requirements
- Active Montana state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting; Day shift availability.
- Experience in skilled nursing facility or geriatric care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; proficient in electronic health records.
- Ability to complete required credentialing and background checks for facility clearance.
