Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) for a 13-week travel assignment in Glens Falls, NY.
Contract Details
  • Days 7am-330pm, 8
  • Start Date: 8/13/2026
  • Contract: 13 Weeks
  • Location: Glens Falls, NY
  • Hourly Pay: $ 32.50
  • Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  • Weekly Total Pay: $ 2221.00
  • On Call Requirements: 1 call per month if needed
  • EMR System: EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - PLEASE NOTE EXPERIENCE ON SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO PREVENT DELAYS ! THANK YOU!
  • COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required.
  • Patient population: Pediatric-Adult
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Operating Rooms: 14 rooms with coverage in Labor & Delivery for C-sections.
  • Types of procedures: Currently provide care in all surgical specialties except cardiac and ophthalmology.
  • Average procedures per day: 50
  • Non-billable orientation: 8hrs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating Room Nurses offer the skills needed to provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
  • Activities may include patient assessment, creating and maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment, pre and post-operative patient education, monitoring the patient's physical and emotional well-being, and integrating and coordinating patient care throughout the surgical care continuum.
  • Strong skills in vascular surgery and orthopedic surgery are a must.
  • Primarily circulating position, Scrub experience would be a great additional skill to have!

Compensation:

  • Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 2+ years of current OR experience - [Required]
  • Float experience to vascular, ortho, trauma, gen surg, Robot, urology, ENT - [Required]
  • Travel experience- [required]
  • EPIC experience- [required]
  • BLS and ACLS- [required]
  • Scrub and Circulate experience- [Required]
  • Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
  • Must have and maintain current ACLS
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
