Wednesday - Saturday (3pm - 1:30am)
Sunday - Thursday (11pm - 7:30am)
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of TIG Welder is TIG the welding of aluminum and steel parts in a variety of standard and custom jobs. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.
Responsibilities:
路 Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols)
路 Inspect welds for accuracy
路 Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts
路 Change wire/welding and gas tanks as needed
路 Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner, and that all safety devices are in use
路 Perform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspections
路 Record proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system
路 Willingness to be flexible within all areas of production within facility.
路 Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position
Skills & Requirements:
路 At least 1 year of experience or training in TIG Welding
路 Must pass the TIG welding test
路 Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings & job orders
路 Ability to operate measuring devices such as calipers and tape measurers
路 Basic computer navigation and data entry skills
路 Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
路 Ability to work overtime when needed
