An IT Security Intern is expected to perform hands-on cybersecurity tasks and other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor. The goal of this position is to provide college students with valuable real-life experience in an IT Security environment by working on meaningful projects and immersing them in a professional work setting similar to what they will encounter after graduation. Our ideal candidate is a Junior or Senior. During this internship, you will gain professional work experience by contributing to real cybersecurity initiatives and security operations. You will participate in the day-to-day use of a suite of enterprise security tools and technologies. Responsibilities: Assist with the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of security solutions using security platforms. Participate in security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, and incident response support. Analyze, design, gather requirements, and document security processes and applications. Support the team in building, testing, and deploying security-related software solutions. Help maintain compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices. Collaborate with the IT Security team on various projects to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
