This person will oversee the Data Governance team, understanding the current end-to-end data process flow, resolving issues and communicating supplier master data management best practices. Guides team in support of corporate initiatives, cross service requests, cross functional team assignments, and special projects.

•    Sets goals for supplier data team, manages execution, measures results and reports on data quality metrics.

•    Selects, manages, evaluates and develops staff.

•    Manages data lineage for key master data attributes and creates awareness of data quality issues.

•    Supports master data manager with various initiatives and process improvements.

•    Works closely with Accounts Payable function to identify gaps and improve efficiencies.

•    Creates, updates and maintains training documents for custodians and business data creators.

Experience:

  • 2 years required, 4 years preferred data domain and business operations experience. 
  • 2 years required, 4 years preferred of experience with master data management and data tools. 
  • 1 year required, 2 years preferred of supervisory experience. 
  • 1 year required, 2 years preferred experience with finance functions, specifically Accounts Payable. 

Education:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in business or related is required

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment is required.
  • Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills with a positive disposition is required
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate execution is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and solution-oriented philosophy is required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and a willingness to accept new challenges is required.
  • Knowledge of project planning is preferred.
  • Ability to identify, research and analyze information across business units is required.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with stake holders is required.

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
