CNC Machinist Apprentice

Our CNC Machinist Apprentice position is an opportunity to learn mill and/or lathe CNC machining skills while also contributing to the production goals of Greno Industries.  This is a full-time position (M-F 7:00AM to 3:30PM) with a complete benefits package.

The details of our apprenticeship are:

• Registration as an official apprentice through NYS Department of Labor
• 4 year program, with credit granted for previous experience and/or training
• Sponsored degree - AS in Advanced Manufacturing at Hudson Valley Community College, including tuition, books. and tooling
• Alternative related instruction pathways for those who do not want to pursue a degree
• Nationally recognized New York State Journeyman credential at completion of program
• Automatic wage increases as you acquire more skills

Qualifications:

• Genuine ambition to become a machinist
• Completion of pre-apprenticeship, BOCES curriculum, or other training program in machining/manufacturing
• Workforce readiness: reliability, teamwork, and communication

Greno Industries is a machine shop in Scotia, NY, suppling parts to the Oil and Gas, Power Generation, and Aerospace and Defense industries.  We are a small, but growing shop with a strong dedication to developing the skills of our employees.
