Overview:Ā Adirondack Beverages is looking to add a Quality Specialist to their team.

  • Create Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in their delivery.
  • Facilitate third-party lab testing for products as needed, monitoring the types of testing and when it is required.Ā 
  • Review lab results to ensure that quality standards are being upheld and customer requirements are being met Ā  Ā 
  • Review in-house lab testing results, notifying Quality Manager of any out-of-specification results. Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā 
  • Monitor and report on yields as assigned and notify Quality Manager of any issues or high losses.
  • Perform routine product inspections on the line, looking for dents, wrinkles, code quality, seam/cap application quality, correct material usage, label application, etc.
  • Support Quality Lab Technicians as needed and assist with questions regarding product specifications and sample collection.
  • Auditing the accuracy of recordkeeping regarding lot numbers and batch ingredients.Ā 
  • Work closely with Quality Manager, Quality Supervisors, syrup technicians, lab technicians, line foreman, receiving and shipping warehouse teams, and production schedulers to help improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow.Ā 
  • Perform miscellaneous projects as needed.Ā 
  • Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality.Ā
