Position Overview

MLM Hearing is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to support its practices in Glenwood Springs, Craig, and Meeker, Colorado. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys serving multiple communities and is comfortable traveling between locations to support patient care.

Candidates must be willing and able to travel and work across Glenwood Springs, Craig, and Meeker, CO, ensuring continuity of care and a consistent patient experience across clinics.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations in accordance with Colorado state licensing guidelines
Educate patients on hearing loss, test results, and treatment options
Recommend and fit hearing instruments based on individual needs and lifestyle
Provide follow-up care, adjustments, and ongoing patient support
Partner closely with the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to ensure a smooth patient experience
Maintain accurate patient records and a clean, professional clinic environment

Requirements

Active Hearing Instrument Specialist license in Colorado state (or ability to obtain)
Previous dispensing, fitting, sales, or service experience preferred
Ability to clearly communicate test results verbally and in writing
Willingness and ability to travel between Glenwood Springs, Craig, and Meeker, CO
