Starting at $22.00/hour   PRIMARY FUNCTION Support the operations of the GHSR Food & Beverage Department by preparing food in a safe, attractive, and cost-effective manner. REPORTING & ACCOUNTABILITY The Senior Grill Cook reports to, and is accountable to the Food & Beverage Manager, and also takes direction from the Assistant Food & Beverage Managers and Food & Beverage Supervisors. PHYISCAL REQUIREMENTS Adequate physical agility to perform the physical tasks required in this job description Ability to push, pull, carry and left 50 lbs. Ability to communicate clearly and follow written and verbal instructions OTHER REQUIREMENTS Ability and willingness to deal positively and respectfully with guests and other employees. Ability and willingness to follow directions. Ability and willingness to learn and follow practices and procedures Ability, knowledge and skill to operate all restaurant equipment, including slicers. Willingness to treat all guests and other employees with courtesy and respect. Willingness to cross-train in other areas as assigned and provide help and support to other areas, including covering breaks and/or shifts if requested. The Senior Grill Cook must have the ability to set priorities and give direction. WORK HOURS AND DAYS In the Food & Beverage Department, work hours and days are variable and must be adaptable to seasonal and other variations in business, as well as availability of staff. Shifts will include weekends and holidays. At times, shifts may exceed eight (8) hours. Please note: This is not an exhaustive list of the job duties.
