SUMMARY: Operate the CNC table laser cutting machine and perform other miscellaneous tasks as supervision deems necessary.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

· Loads and unloads raw materials from the laser table bed with a forklift or hoist.  

· Selects proper cutting programs and fixtures.  

· Selects and sets up lenses based on material type and thickness.  

· Loads programs and sets machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.  

· Establishes proper stop location and adjusts laser beam focal point.  

· Makes proper set-ups for cutting operations.  

· Performs all dimensional inspections.  

· Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions.  

· Performs Autonomous Maintenance as outlined for the machine.  

· Completes all weekly, daily and monthly 5S tasks.
