Purpose of Position:
This hybrid office and warehouse role involves collaborating with terminal and product coordinators to ship outbound orders and manage truck loading schedules. Responsibilities include overseeing warehouse operations, verifying order instructions, ensuring timely and proper loading, and visually inspecting trailers for safety, cleanliness, and freedom from debris or allergens.
Accountabilities:
- Shipping orders in Produce Pro.
- Check Inventory availability daily.
- Work closely with Traffic, Product Coordinators and Sales personnel.
- Maintain communication with Del Monte warehouse staff.
- Maintain inventory records, logs and other product reports as required.
- Facilitate changes of COO (countries of origin) to expedite order fulfillment.
- Special tasks as assigned.
Minimum Skills Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 to 2 years previous experience in a similar office/warehouse role.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
