The Warehouse Lead Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of both the laborers and supervisors, as well as the management of all front-line warehouse operations. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising and reporting performance; and ensuring adherence to company standards and regulations. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage order picking, checking, packing, and shipping to meet daily productivity goals
- Expedite workflow
- Schedule work for each work area
- Serve as a liaison between the office staff, drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel to ensure process efficiency
- Enforce quality control, including clean product, clean aisles, low error rate, and satisfactory productivity performance
- Review and monitor security procedures, implement and perform security checks, and observe employee actions for compliance with security regulations
- Monitor employee work performance for accuracy, neatness, and adherence to policies and procedures
Requirements
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisor experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience supervising a team
- Basic understanding of computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to resolve issues under tight timeframes and pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team-building and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to develop productive business relationships and influence and educate employees
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
Work Conditions
This position is in a refrigerated warehouse facility and involves exposure to widely varying temperature ranges, as well as all environmental weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.). Additionally, extended periods of walking and/or standing are required.
