Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services is looking for an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) for the Gloucester Clinic. 

Job Description:

The APRN will provide direct outpatient psychiatric services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, and psychopharmacological treatment of assigned patients. The APRN will also function as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible care for all patients.

The ideal candidate will have successfully completed all educational and certification requirements to practice as an APRN for psychiatric care in the state of MA.  Maintenance of current APRN MA license, DEA, and State of MA for controlled substances is required. 

The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of the standard principles and practices of diagnosing and treating (via psychotherapy and psychopharmacology) of mental disorders described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM); also, keeps current with developments in psychiatry via the literature, conferences, Internet, etc.

Motivation to prescribe psychopharmacological medications carefully with the aim of maximizing patient benefit while avoiding/minimizing adverse effects and untoward drug interactions is a must.  The APRN should also have outstanding planning and implementation skills, a strategic approach to problem-solving, a strong working knowledge of data-reporting and analysis skills, and sound interpersonal skills.

Pay Range:

$149,968.00 USD - $190,652.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
