Job Duties
- Support sourcing activities for assigned categories by assisting with supplier communication, quotations, and data analysis.
- Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and part data within procurement systems to support business continuity.
- Assist with supplier performance tracking, issue documentation, and reporting under guidance from senior team members.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance to support part qualification, changes, and basic sourcing initiatives.
- Participate in RFQs, cost comparisons, and savings tracking activities.
- Support supplier onboarding, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Develop foundational sourcing and negotiation skills through hands-on experience and training.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-4 years related experience
- Associate's degree (Business, Supply Chain or Engineering)
- Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
- Frequent travel (6-20%) & Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)
- Must be willing to work onsite – New Bremen, Ohio
Preferred Qualifications
- Interpersonal, teamwork and negotiation aptitude skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Manufacturing Engineering or other technical experience.Â
- CPSM, APICS, CIPS, or comparable training are also preferred.
