About the Role:
Blast Off Bay in Goddard, KS is looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join the team at our Hampton Inn! This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting hospitality environment where your behind-the-scenes work keeps the guest experience running smoothly and at its best.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, fold, and sort linens, towels, and other hotel textiles according to brand standards
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain inventory of clean linens and supplies, restocking housekeeping carts as needed
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and remove items that do not meet quality standards
- Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens
- Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures for laundry detergents and cleaning agents
Requirements:
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30–50 lbs for extended periods
- Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
